Located on the Big Sur coast, the Andrew Molera State Park is an underdeveloped park that emphasizes nature in its purest state. Miles and miles of trails are perfect for biking and hiking. Winding through hilltops, beaches and meadows, these trails show off the variety of natural landscapes in Monterey.. After exploring the landscape, learn more about the creatures that call it home through the onsite Discovery Center. The center offers exhibits on local wildlife, including the California Condor. Also featured at the park is the historic Cooper's Cabin built around 1861. Today, it is the oldest structure in Big Sur. If a quick trip is not enough to soak up all these rich elements, 24 identified camp sites adorn the park trail. When visiting Andrew Molera State Park, one can really go back to nature.

Camp sites are limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, campgrounds only allow 4 individuals on each site.
