A Few Things The Kids Will EnjoyFlag review
Though a brewery tour isn't an obvious family outing, you'll find the Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tour to be entertaining and very interesting. The history of the company surrounds you in the waiting lobby and the collection of beer steins is quite impressive. The tour covers about 7 city blocks of walking, with a trolley ride at the end. The first stop is likely the most popular - the Budweiser Clydesdales. These horses live in style! (And if they are the only thing you came to see, you can leave the tour and head to the hospitality room.) The tour takes you through the aging cellars, the brew house, and the packaging plant. Even if you aren't a beer drinker (and I'm not), you can't help but be impressed by the buildings, inside and out. At the end of the tour you hop on board the trolley for a ride back to the hospitality room for beer tasting - or sodas if you are under age.
Tips for Families
Tours are free. Kids a bit older - tweens and teens - will probably enjoy it more.
