Description

The Audubon Zoo is a zoo in New Orleans. Some of the exhibits include gorillas, orangutans and the Louisiana swamp exhibit. It is also home to two rare white tigers and rare white alligators.

This attraction is part of New Orlean’s Audubon Nature Institute, which offers enough family activities to keep you and the kids entertained for a good two days at least. You can purchase tickets in various combination packages for more savings and better customization to your liking.

Tips for Families

Even in the summer when it gets excruciatingly hot and humid the Audubon Zoo is a great destination. There's plenty of shade and places to sit and catch your breath. Bring your own stroller.
