Intimate all-inclusive resort with great food
I loved the Azul Beach resort when my family visited in 2009, but after $21 million in renovations since then, I bet I’d love it even more! (Especially because four years ago, the drawback was the dated room decor; the accommodations have totally been made over.) What’s to like here is its intimate size: just 148 rooms and suites. Like its sister property Azul Sensatori, Azul Beach has some “swim up suites” so you can enter the pool right from your patio. The Azulitos Kids Club is new since I visited; it now features Fisher-Price toys for use in the club, and there’s a toy-lending library, too. The food is excellent at this “Gourmet Inclusive” library.
Tips for Families
Do not miss being waited on by accommodating “beach butlers” while hanging out on a large canopied beach bed. There’s room for the whole family on these comfy lounging spaces!
