A museum for all agesFlag review
- There is an entire building dedicated to clowns, the formation of clown college, and detailed training on what makes a good clown. - Another building houses antique carriages, not restored, and left untouched for 100 years. - Exhibit of the first sideshow performers. - A building containing an elaborate miniature circus. - Mannequins displaying different types of circus costumes from across the world - History of the five Ringling Bros. and their merge with Barnum & Bailey in 1918. - A live, midday circus performance - A window into the restoration facility to watch the craftsmen work. - The gift shop also has many rare books about the history of the circus at an affordable price (under $20.) Admission to the Circus World Museum is $15. It is open May - September 9:00am-6:00pm.
