Specializing in the artistic elegance, functionality and history of footwear, the Beta Shoe Museum is a rare find. The collection numbers over 10,000 shoes, and hundreds are on display at any given time. Fancy footwear abounds as the collection ranges from Chinese bound foot shoes and ancient Egyptian sandals to chestnut crushing clogs and glamorous platforms. Museum goers will be amazed at how much the shoe has evolved, and marvel in the variations in shoe design. Also, 20th century shoes can be found in the All About Shoes exhibit.
