Hidden GemFlag review
We planned our visit to Lancaster in order to immerse ourselves in Amish culture. But we didn't want to be too close to the tourists spots (i.e. Sesame Place and Hershey), so we settled on this little gem. The hotel was extremely clean and quiet. We stayed in a room with the balcony overlooking the indoor pool, which we spent much of our time in. The onsite restaurant was nothing extraordinary, but it was very convenient. Our 4 year old still talks about this trip and his fondest memories were of the hotel. I definitely recommend staying here when visiting Lancaster and the surrounding counties.
Tips for Families
Parents with younger kids should try to visit the indoor pool early in the day since it tends to fill up with adults seeking poolside cocktail service during the late afternoon and evening hours.
