I've seen this exhibit labeled as a "must visit" for NYC tourists.  I am not a tourist, but I do hope those visitors don't pay full price to come to this exhibit. We used a Groupon and got a great dea. The preservation of the bodies is indeed a pretty cool thing and bring able to see inside of ones body is so intriguing and informative.  You have to read a lot, so younger children may get bored easily unless you purchased the children's guided tour.  The part of the exhibit where they display fetuses can be quite disturbing, so decide carefully if you want to enter.   We played the mind/stress game and we didn't think it was authentic.   If you're studying biology or physiology I think you'll like this.  I d...

This place is def interesting.  I saw this exhibit years ago but I'm assuming it hasn't changed much.  It was a little "gross" at first but once I was there I figured I better make it a learning experience and became interested.  Seeing the pregnant woman with the baby in her stomach was really sad and ...

I can easily say I learned a lot with this exhibition. The human bodies and organs are very well exposed; you can get close and personal. Staff is always circling around asking if you have any questions. And they are pretty knowledgeable. It's definitely a good program for a family to go in a Sunday morning. By the way, it's worth paying the extra for the Dialog in the Dark. You'll experience typical NYC places and situations in a pitch black environment. You'll have to buy groceries, catch a subway, walk in a park without being able to see a thing, using a cane, and being helped by partially or totally blind guides (after all, they're used to such environment). It's a unique experience. You quickly learn ho...

Regardless of our Groupon half off deal, this place was STILL overpriced, it ran us nearly $30, who'd pay $27.5 per person for an exhibit that's shrinking and more importantly is so disturbing. Since the controversy surrounding the origins of the humans on display one quarter of it has been 'shipped back to China'.   I wish I read Jeannie M's review prior t...

There's a reason why you don't always get to do the things you want to do. It is God's way of looking out for your best interests. For instance, I have been planning to go to the BODIES exhibit for quite some time now and something always got in the way (mainly laziness). I also always wanted to try the virtual ride by Seaport (I assumed it was a roller coaster but was never sure) and finally my curiosity got the best of me. I killed two birds with one stone purely on a whim one day. I attended the exhibit first. My expectations were to get a look inside the human body. I did get a look inside, and outside, and from the side; however, I may as well have been looking at the wax figures from Madam Tussauds. Th...

I finally went to this exhibit after wanting to for some time.  I had a discount from an online promotion, like probably about 1/2 of those in line.   I thought this was a fantastic display.  very professionally done and educational and truly makes you marvel at the human body.  I wasn't squeamish at all and find it just amazing to see this bodies so close up.  everyone can learn from it.  The fetus displays were very interesting. I don't think I would take younger children..and the lack of children there made it more relaxed environment.   although some Yelpers have complained about the length of the exhibition, it was pretty good for me.  I really stopped and read most things, so by the end, I felt like I ...

I think most people agree that it's something everyone should see but only if you get the discount on the tickets because for an adult ticket is approx. $28. I got ours on travelzoo and even the couple infront of us had the same deal. This past Saturday was my second visit to the Bodies exhibit. We managed to find parking within 15 min so that's always a plus. The exhibition was very informative and I enjoyed the cleverly displayed bodies. I liked  that they showed healthy organs and compared it with ones that had health issues. I also liked the fact they had a room specifically about pregnancy and baby development but you can choose to go in it or not. Everyone should go in anyway. It's really interesting. ...

Wow !!! Not at all what I expected ! My wife purchased the tickets thru a club that saved us 51% on face value that was a big plus... However I had no idea what it was about until I got there.
