My kiddies just finished up Summer Fun at Booth park and it was quite the "experience." I grew up going to Summer Fun in Halawa as a kid and have fond memories of taking home lunch, playing in the big gym and doing the good old Summer Fun finale dance! In a way it's a right of passage. Booth park has a big playground, huge field, a gym and a pool. You can take your kids swimming here but in the Summers you need to sign up early because the classes fill up quickly. Although I really liked the adults who run the program, I think my kids had mixed feelings about attending Summer Fun because they weren't too wild about going every day.
