Breckenridge Gondola, Breckenridge, Colorado
Breckenridge, Colorado| Map |
The Breck gondola ride is great fun for the whole family. It's a beautiful novelty ride, especially for those who have never experienced this kind of lift. Without a doubt, fall is the best time for colors and possibly some snow-capped peaks. Visitors will find that the gondola serves as an integral link between the town’s skier parking lots and the Breckenridge Ski Resort. Parking is available in several adjacent lots. Skiers and riders can ski directly back to the town and these parking lots via the Skyway Skiway, accessible from the Lower Four O'clock run on Peak 8. Stop in for a snack and a drink afterwards at Peak 7's very own restaurant, Sevens.

Great views and lots to do on the top of the peak in the summerFlag review
It’s not everyday you can take a Gondola ride a top a mountain without having to ski or snowboard back down. It’s fee and runs June through the end of August/early September. The views of Cucumber Gulch were breath taking. Once we reached the top we explored the Breckenridge Summer Fun Park. They had lots of activities to choose from. My son’s favorites were the Climbing Wall, Mini Golf and of course the Alpine SuperSlide. Next time we will probably try the bungee trampoline.
Tips for Families
Another option to the Gondola is taking the scenic Colorado SuperChair for $10.
