Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Virginia

Busch Gardens was a great mini vacation for the whole family. We enjoyed a leisurely day at the water park. Fun for the whole family - parents and teens alike. We took a break the next day for some historic site seeing and returned the next day to the amusement park. We got there early and hit 4 or 5 rides before the place got crowded. Enjoyed a full day of rides and attractions and then went back to the hotel and showered for dinner. After dinner we returned to the park for a great fireworks show.

Conveniently located in the Historic Triangle if Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. Lots of fun 3D shows, plenty of roller coasters, and a fun European atmosphere. Loves seeing the Clydesdale horses, and shopping in quality stores.

Ive been going to this park for years. It is always clean and the staff is great. The food is really good, much better than most parks and not too pricey. I love the shows! Dont miss the irish dancing show. My daughter loves the waterplay. Come with a change of clothes. I suggest you buy the large drink cup to get 1$ refills. Well worth it. The popcorn buckets are a good value to. If you play games look for the dart balloon pop one, winner everytime!! The cake in the festhause and the spaghetti in italy are really yummy, I love the new soft pretzels too. The rides are well kept and the newest coaster verbolten rocks! I rode the lochness with my 9 year old who loved it. My daughters favorite thing is to get slpashed by the boat in escape from pompei. The fireworks shows in the summer are really a treat. This park is great for all ages and beautiful to walk around in. I suggest going later in the day and staying until closing. If you need a break head to land of the dragons for open air playtime with no lines! Ive been coming here since I was a child it is a wonderfil park year round, by far one of the best Ive been to. All ages of chhildren have multiple ride choices even the very young.
