What better way to learn about Colorado’s history and government than with a tour through the Colorado Capitol Building? Families have a couple of choices. Older kids may appreciate the historical tours, which begin on the first floor and consist of early Colorado history, Capitol construction, several stained glass windows, Women's Gold Tapestry, Presidential portraits, and a stop outside the Senate and House of Representatives' chambers. Mr. Brown's Attic, which has a children’s interactive space, is an exhibit area located between the third floor and the dome. It is devoted to Colorado's early history, Capitol construction and legislative process.
