The Carnegie Science Center's contemporary architectural design can be spotted from miles away. Its design mimics what is inside, both utilizing cutting edge technology. It is home to the Buhl Digital Dome, which is said to exhibit the latest in projection technology, the Rangos Omnimax Theater and the Miniature Railroad & Village. The little scientist in the group will especially appreciate Roboworld, said to be the ''World's largest permanent robot exhibit.''
