Through a kaleidoscope of exhibits and observatories, families can learn about the wonders of the universe at the Chabot Space & Science Center. Founded as an observatory in 1883, the Chabot Space & Science Center offers hands-on, interactive exhibits, displays and planetarium shows that explore the mysteries of the universe and of life on earth. For example, kids will get a glimpse into the life of an astronaut and try out gear and space tools at Beyond Blast Off. For a look into the cosmos, visitors can check out high-tech telescopes.
