A smaller aquarium at Fair Park that is geared for the kids.  It's not as cool as the Dallas World Aquarium but still...

I'd been to this aquarium several times prior to the renovation and for my children (at the time, ages 2 and 4), it was a perfect, safe way to spend an hour. Today was the first time we'd been back since the makeover and although I wasn't sure it would hold the kids' attention, we ended up spending 2 1/2 hours here!  We had 4 kids between us, ages 6 and 8, and all 4 of them really enjoyed it. Wish there were some additional volunteers/employees to answer questions, but there are signs at most of the tanks telling you what's inside. The touch tank at the entrance was a huge hit, both on the way in and again on the way out. The sting ray bay was also a hit, but make sure to get in line to buy the $2 cup of foo...
