Hello Good morning   This for is for mr. Ackerman I believe this is who is running the shots . I believe you need to have a Hugh meeting with your staff and teach them how not to be rude to a customer when they are in your facility . I am new to new York city and I have heard  so many good things about your museum . so I decided I would bring my kids to this famous museum i am always hearing about . For starters the admission staff member was to busy texting on her phone she did not pay attention tO me at first .after standing there for like four min then she noticed me . she was a heavy set girl ,ok so now I'm told I have to check in my stroller ok fine I go there I am confronted by this older African Ameri...

I would def say my kid is too big for this museum already. I feel like it was more opted for younger children rather than his age bracket. We came here today for the celebration of Museum Day, wherein we got free tix from the Smithsonian Mag. Came at about mid lunch and the place was already packed from all floors. Two floors were closed for private events and so we got stuck at the second flr wherein he played with the balls that were meant for smaller kids. The all around atmosphere is really kid friendly with a lot of things to play with and climb around. I like the idea of having an outdoor water playground at the back wherein they get to get wet and splash around with water. The displays of lego lands w...

Good lord this place is vastly inferior.  The employees are hostile, nearly all of it is a product placement for Curious George, Dora, and Playmobile, and they HAVE.  NO.  FOOD.  Nor do they let you bring your OWN food in.  Tell me how long a 2yr old and 1yr old can go without any snacks or drinks?  And when we asked the receptionist about the food situation, she could not even recommend a single place in the area where we could take our little kids.  So we had to pack them up again (because they do not allow you to bring your strollers inside) and go on the quest for food in the pouring rain.  The whole experience was a nightmare.   The Children's Museum of Manhattan is a terrible place to take children. Go...

This museum is geared for younger children, I would say ages 2-5. I took my 9 yr old daughter and although she played on the first floor (jump rope) we breezed through the remaining 3. One was closed due to construction. I wouldn't consider this a museum, at all. It is more like a play center. The employees are horrible. We were downstairs at an Aristotle exhibit and they were so loud talking amongst themselves you could not hear the recorded exhibit. I would never recommend this museum to any one. Be careful with the coat room, my cell phone was stolen out of tote and of course, they are not responsible for items left there. We received free passes from our library and could not imagine paying the $10 admis...

I take my son here every time I get the chance.  He really likes that there are 3 different floors to play on and when its nice outside they have this water city thing that the kids love. They do a story time, classes (2 of which i did for them last year) and the employees are all great with the ...

Five stars to CMOM for entertaining my 20-month-old on a rainy day! She had a blast on the third floor. We never made it to other floors or exhibits. Some people say it's not educational like a real museum, but I think my little one learned a lot. She's at the age where she wants to imitate adult behavior and play with li...

We really enjoyed this museum. My daughter was a year, and not walking yet, but she enjoyed playing with all the soft toys, balls, crawling around. There were these cool machines where she can ...
