The room served its purpose. Staff was nice.

I was a little worried to stay at the Clarion Lake Buena Vista because I had seen some bad reviews. But it was perfectly ok. We stayed there about a total of 5 hours and all of that devoted to sleep. They checked us in early because we had a reservation at RainForest Cafe which was very nice of them. We bought a fold out bed so we could have 5 in the room. It was an extra $15. The total cost of the room for us was $70 with the extra bed. The pool opened at 10 and closed at 10. Would have been nice if it was open all night but noone does that so..All the employees were nice. I tried to sign us up for the offer they had in the lobby to tour the Wyndham resort for a free 7 day stay but my husband wouldn’t go for it. All in all the room served it’s purpose which was for us to have a place to sleep. I had read the employees there were rude and they weren’t. I was afraid the neighborhood would be rough because of the reviews I’d read but it felt perfectly safe. They didn’t have a hot tub which disappointed my daughter but that’s ok we wouldn’t have had time to use it anyway. My kids enjoyed playing in their arcade. The 3 of them played for about an hour with $10 so it seems like the games were pretty good and lasted awhile. The bathrooms in the lobby were really nice. I wish they piped music in like the Disney resorts and stuck with the Disney theme but I did like the natural Florida look they had in the lobby and the locally taken photos they had hanging up. We thought our room came with 2 free breakfast buffets but they told us you had to pay for them. They were 11 dollars I think but we had breakfast elsewhere. Didn’t try their onsite restaurant at all. The look of the place was ok. Nothing really special about it but it looked well maintained. All in all it was fine.

    Tips for Families

They said it doesn’t cost extra to have 5 people in the room. Just costs extra for a fold out bed=$15
