I went to this water park / hotel. It seems like a motel kind of place with a water park built in. I didn't stay there the night so I can't comment on the rooms and service, but the water park was great for kids. It's not a huge water park so it is easier to keep an eye on the kids. My wife, my ten-month-old and I all stayed here for a couple of nights recently.  We live about 2 hours from Orlando and decided to do a mini-spring break at Coco Key.  What we discovered is that this is a really awesome hotel for kids from about age 4 or 5 up - not so much for toddlers.  That being said, the place was PACKED with kids.  I can't imagine a better way to spend a day.  Plus, the hotel is centrally located on I-Drive with all that entails (good and bad).   The on-site restaurants seemed to be designed for feeding large numbers of kids quickly.  Again, both mornings we went down for breakfast and the place was packed.
