Well I was here only 3 days earlier to see the Pompeii exhibit. But I'm more of a Harry Potter fan and since the HP exhibit was ending the same day I was leaving NYC, I figured, it is now or never. And I'm glad I came back. Costs $26 to get in, but with the NY Pass it is free. Since I used the pass earlier at Discovery, they still gave a discount of $10 off. Anything and everything related to Harry Potter can be found here. I was like a kid in a candy store walking in. And as you soon as you walk in, you are submerged into the HP series as the Sorting Hat places you in one of the four houses. Neat stuff. After that, it's pretty much everything else related to the films and the books. You walk in Hagrid's hut...

So ridiculously expensive; the harry potter exhibition was 40 dollars to see a bunch of props. It was very entertaining but definitely not worth the money. The pompeii exhibition looked really interesting as well. I came here with a friend when we had...

This is so cool. I have always been interested in CSI investigation and this puts you right into the scene. It's not an exhibit - it's an experience. You really feel like you are a CSI. You are placed in a crime scene and you have to do the CSI work. We investigated the scene then we were taken to a very realistic (and sometimes grueso...

I came here for the Harry Potter Exhibit. It was fun to get a look at the costumes and props. It was all set up nicely. We spent about 2 hours walking around looking. You're not allowed to take pictures once you're inside, which is pretty annoying. Also, I know Harry Potter is a book for children and kids are to be expected at these things, but people really need to learn how to handle their kids before unleashing them on the public. There were kids running around pushing in front of people. This one family that was there with 3 young boys, were the worst. The kids kept touching the costumes and props, which we are constantly reminded not to touch. One kid even broke off a note card from a display. A final t...

This is for the Harry Potter Exhibit at the Discovery Museum Times Square.  First, you can find coupons codes online and I would definitely recommend finding them as it well done but still a bit pricey at $25 for an adult and $20.50 for children.  Second, unless you are very interested in set and costume design, the audio tour is NOT worth it, especially for kids.  My two daughters, ages 5 and 8, listened to the first 20 seconds and then handed them to me and my husband for the remainder of the tour.  I listened to 3 or 4 of the audios before I lost interest.  Aside from the audio tour, the rest of it was well done and interesting, but more for  true Harry Potter fans. My older daughter is just starting to r...
