I've been living in Florida for 16 years and I'm always coming back to Blizzard Beach! As a kid I loved going on the kid rides but unfortunantely I can't anymore. Anyways there are many other amazing rides to choose from. The family raft ride is amazing as you can either walk up or take a beautiful sightseeing chair lift which I love to go to the top of the mountain. I love the atmosphere and being as it's winter themed. I absolutely love winter and snow so I have a great time. I tend to never buy lunch as I don't like eating something real hot when it's hot outside. On the way I'll stop by a Publix and grab a sub which is just as delicious. Many area's to sit and theres also a new area created where you can...

AWESOME WATER PARK! This is a must see on your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! Imagine a snow covered water paradise! Float around the park via the Cross Country Creek. Watch out for the sneezing guy! Don't miss the Chair Lift to take you up to the Slush Gusher (body slides), Summit Plummet (Vertical drop) and the Teamboat Springs (family raft ride). Melt-Away Bay is a cool wave pool with shared iner-tubes so you can bounce around. Great kids park too. Snack and drink stands around the park. Counter serve meals also. I recommend renting a locker and bringing necessary items only. Sunscreen, flip flops, money, towels (also available for rent, they are very clean) and your keys. Park closes early so plan...

In my opinion this is the best of the two waterparks that Disney offers in WDW. It's better, because the rides are all better.  We spent almost an entire day here.  Left due to incoming stormy weather. So here is my quick rundown of the attractions at Blizzard Beach.. Chair Lift.  Neat little ride, that doesn't really save you much in time, maybe a little in walking but really, when you go to WDW be prepared to walk. Plummet Summit. Ouch.  NO really ouch.  I got a HUGE bruise on my left butt cheek from this sucker.  It's still tender over a week later.  Ever bit it on a tube going real fast behind a boat?  That is what the end of this ride feels like.  The beginning is AWESOME but the end is just way too pai...

This is absolutely my favorite water park of all time.  The theme is a great concept.  There are tons of fantastic water options here.  The lazy river is so fun and relaxing - grab an inner tube and rest your eyes and feet as you float around the park.  The wave pool is su...

I've been to Blizzard Beach 2 times as of last week and Typhoon Lagoon once. I prefer Typhoon Lagoon, but I am kind of over riding giant water slides and like more low key stuff now (wave pool, lazy river, smaller slides). Typhoon Lagoon's wave pool is WAY better because it's bigger. There are just a $hit ton of people in the one at blizzard beach and it's not nearly as big so it's really, really crowded. I like the lazy river, but wish it were just a tad bit deeper (like maybe 3 feet) because there are times, depending on how you ride the tube that your toes drag on the bottom and that is not good. My daughter who is about to be 4 liked the lazy river until we got to the cave and also the sneezing ice gator...

DO NOT,  I repeat DO NOT leave Disney World without a visit to Blizzard Beach.  We had an absolute BLAST!!!    I will be 40 years old this year and I had just as much fun at this water park as my 11 and 13 year old!  We went non-stop from 11 to 4:30 only taking a break for lunch. We started out on the lazy river which was a relaxing ride around the entire park.   (Except for the unexpected waterfall inside the cave.)   I thought I did my very best to paddle around it until the lifeguard gave my inner-tube a nice shove right into the FREEZING falls!  Real funny. We had the best time on Teamboat Springs which is a family raft ride down a winding river.  Our other favorite was Run-Off Rapids which had three dif...

Woohoo!  As good as it gets is right!  I went here with an out of town friend and let me tell you...the Summit Plummet is my favorite ride at Walt Disney World.  When you're at the top waiting to ride this huge slide, which is almost a vertical drop, you can see ALL of Walt Disney World.  For those of you that don't know this little factoid, Walt Disney World is twice the size of the island of Manhatten....ummmm kkkkkkkk!!  So yeah...you're really freaking high up!  Yes, you are really going to drop that far in what appears to be an almost vertical drop.  Keep those legs and arms crossed.....trust me!   Many people ride the milder slide next to the Summit Plummet first....why bother when this is available is...
