Dylan's Candy Bar is a chain of boutique candy shops. It is owned by Dylan Lauren, daughter of Ralph Lauren. Lauren was inspired to create the store, which is asserted to be the ''largest unique candy store in the world'', by the Roald Dahl story of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

Definitely a fan, though I'm not sure I can compare Dylan's to other awesome candy stores - we have NONE where I live, so Dylan's made my eyeballs pop out. I will say that this is where, many years ago, I discovered my love of chocolate-covered gummy bears. Obsessive love. Totally not healthy. Had a friend in NYC mailing them to me regularly (yeah, melted too, which honestly is wonderful too). Just learned here that there's a bar upstairs? All the more reason to go. Dylan's, to me, offers a great selection - though a bit on the pricey side. If you have kids, it's a must when you visit NYC. Great selection of your favorite candy!
