Embassy Suites is great for families
My kids love the Embassy Suites chain, which is ironic because it is geared towards the business traveler. The rooms are very large, which is a great for a family of six. There is a tv/pullout couch area, small kitchen area, large bathroom and then large bedroom with two double beds. There are two tvs in each suite, which is great too. They also had a very nice pool, but my husband did not like the fact that it was right near the lobby and in glass. He felt like we were on display. We went early on a Sunday morning and had the whole pool and hot tub to ourselves.
Tips for Families
The best part of staying here is the free hot breakfast. You can get cooked to order omelets, pancakes, and plenty of other good food here. Much better than the average continental fare you get at other hotels. They also have a manager’s reception nightly with free appetizers and free drinks.
