Great place to spend an afternoon!Flag review
My daughter and I visited during during "Heart Day" and had a great time with the activities and exploring the exhibits. I came back the other day to check out the new robotics exhibit. It's almost finished being installed and I got a chance to talk to the engineer who designed it. It looks like they are expanding their outdoor area. It has shuffleboard and an outdoor classroom. One of the employees said they have plans for an ourdoor garden and an aviary. My favorite exibit was the magnet wheel in one of the hallways. If you have young children, there's a park and picnic area adjacent to the center. The new location is close to Liza Jackson Park, too.
Tips for Families
Bring your lunch and eat it at the adjacent park. Shaded picnic benches and playground, too.
