Explora Science Center, Albuquerque, New Mexico

The Explora Science Center is about as hands-on as a kid (or an adult) can get. This amazing interactive mix of science, technology and art exhibits is custom designed for little learners but is still equally inspiring to moms and dads. Regardless of age, visitors can’t keep their hands off the giant bubble exhibit, heat-censor television or tight wire bicycle. Plus, the brain teasers and water stations are great for keeping older kids engaged. Explora Science Center’s daily calendar is brimming with family-friendly fun, such as guided experiments (even for kids as young as 2), engaging short films, robot building, jam sessions and live science theatre. This bilingual (Spanish/English) attraction is also a prime birthday location and offers great party package deals. However, if parents spend too much time wrangling little ones to fully enjoy the exhibits, the center also hosts regular Adult Nights for grown up mingling and science fun.

Great Surprise!Flag review
We are visiting family in New Mexico with our 2 year old grandchild and found Explora on a website. Three generations visited and there was something for everyone! Great grandma enjoyed the sand area, grandma and grandpa loved the circuit room, and our 2 year old loved the water lab and bubbles. We are thinking of coming back prior to leaving. We were pleasantly surprised!
