Fiesta americana timeshare fraud!Flag review
. During our vacation to Cancun, Mexico, we were pressured and tricked into signing a contract for a 40 year membership with the Fiesta Americana Vacation Club in 2013. We felt uneasy about the whole process and signed after being pressured for 7 hours by high-pressure tactics. They promised a lot of things but they were empty promises and there were many lies. We tried canceling the contract within the 5 day grace period that companies are forced to give customers, but they claimed we rescinded our right to cancel and they made it impossible to cancel. They even threatened us to take us to court and that our credit score in the US would be affected as they have a billing company in the USA. We felt so stupid for signing and always regretted that day. We were not happy with the membership either.I tried canceling the membership and they claimed there would be a penalty that would be more expensive than the whole membership was worth. This statement was actually true according to their contract. I researched online and found that we were not the only ones tricked and unhappy with these time share/vacation club memberships. It seemed hopeless and we were very frustrated. I was afraid that if I stopped paying, they would take legal action and have a collecting agency come after us and thereby affect our credit score in the USA. Remember, this is a LEGAL contract and it can be enforced in the USA. I came across Mexican Timeshare Solutions on the web and read the testimonials. I will be honest in that I was very skeptical of this company and in the process. I researched this company numerous times and even confirmed that they had good ratings with the Better Business Bureau. I took a chance and contracted them with the guarantee of no payment until my membership was canceled. Three months later, my membership was cancelled legally and I am now free of this timeshare scam. I was so frustrated that I would be stuck with this membership for 40 years but thanks to Mexican Timeshare Solutions, they came to the rescue.

My Kid's Review

Cleanness of the room, the activeness of the stuff to keep your roomclean and your bar full of the beverages u wish. The champagne on thereception is excellent. The pure vodka, champagne or tequila are ok. 1. The hotel is located in the area where it is almost impossible to swim because of strong waves and coastal stream. The safeguards are whistling all the day trying not to let people in the sea.2. The food is boring. The menu is almost the same all over the week. The Italian restaurant should be booked in an hour and the quality is far from expected. In the Mexican restaurant the waiting after y r seated is too long. We were waited for almost one hour.3. The mixed beverages (Cocktails, Margaritas, Pina Co...
Baby's 1st vacation :)
Overall, the resort was great. We had a good time. They had time share people so look out for them, but once you tell them you're not interested, they back off. The Michael Jackson show was fun, however we did not catch ...
Mediocre at Best
My family and I stayed at Fiesta Americana in July of 2011. We have visited Cancun for the past four years and this was by far our most disappointing hotel stay. Unlike other hotels which made us feel welcomed as soon as we stepped out of the cab, Fiesta Americana offered no assistance with our luggage and we had to remind the clerk to give us directions to our rooms. Our rooms were outdated and the mini fridge merely kept our drinks slightly below room temperature. One of our rooms had a missing hotel info & menu binder missing while the other room had one with missing pages. Wifi signal was also weak (but it is free) and we had difficulty calling each other from room to room. The food itself is pretty good...
