Posh for adults, fun for kids!!

This is a wonderful, comfortable hotel for adults and AMAZINGLY kid-friendly for such posh accommodations! They brought out a wagon full of toys for our twin 2 year olds to pick from upon arrival and when we got up to our room we found yummalicious cookies for each of them with their names on the plates. The eager reception combined with free food for kids in the hotel restaurant and bar made this far and away the best kid-friendly hotel we’ve encountered in Chicago.

    Tips for Families

It isn’t cheap, but it is a great experience and location! Definitely check out the koi pond for the kidlets near the restaurant off the lobby. The hotel is also connected to the water place mall and they have packages for American Girl outings and others.

    Family Friendly Luxury Vacation

f you want the ultimate kid-friendly luxurious local escape, the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is the perfect destination. My family stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago over President’s weekend and all four of us never wanted to leave. From the moment we walked into the lobby a wave of r-e-l-a-x-a-t-i-o-n pour over us. It was truly magical and we all felt we were treated like royalty. When we arrived in our beautiful room, we found a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan and four luxurious bathrobes (2 adult sizes and 2 kid sizes). I immediately got comfy and put on my bathrobe, but to my surprise, so did everyone else.

    Tips for Families

Have the ice cream trolley visit your room. The play room is ideal for children under 4. Wear your bathrobes to the pool. Don’t over plan your Chicago vacation so you have plenty of time to simply relax at the hotel.

    Luxury for little ones

Voted the #1 family hotel in Chicago, Four Seasons really caters to kids. Children get special welcome gifts, complimentary in-room meals as well as a visit from the Ice Cream Man. You can also schedule a pizza making class for your kids with the chef. The indoor pool is also a big plus for the little ones. In addition, Four Seasons is attached to the 900 North Michigan shopping mall, so you never even have to go outside to shop at Bloomingdale’s. Other quick serve restaurants include Frankie’s Scaloppine and Pizzeria, King Cafe Gourmet & Go, and Potbelly Sandwich Works. .

    Tips for Families

Schedule your visit from the Ice Cream Man at check in so you get the time that’s best for your kids, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
