Golden Gate Park is, for a lack of a better word, awesome! I know that when you think of San Francisco's gloomy weather, it's a bit difficult to picture yourself in a gorgeous park with sunny weather. Woohoo! As good as it gets is right! This park, along with Golden Gate Bridge and Pliny the Elder are what convinced me to move to San Francisco. You could seriously spend your whole day, well, two or three days at GGP and see something new every day. Bicycle rentals, playgrounds, Japanese tea garden, BUFFALO!, waterfalls, rose gardens (roses bigger than my head!). remote control boats at Stow Lake (along with the famous baby owls living there right now!), adorable groundhogs, skate park, giant windmill leading to Ocean Beach, tons of trails always filled with runners and cyclists...I could go on. If you come to SF and leave without seeing GGP you have done yourself a serious disservice. Guaranteed to be lus...
