Quality resort

We booked this hotel at an excellent rate and were not disappointed at the high quality of the resort. Yes, the Coba is a bit further from the beach (about a 10 minute walk). The rooms were very spacious and having a sofa converted to a bed was a big bonus for us and our two teenagers. The bathrooms were lar...

What a Week!

This was our second trip to Mexico this year and our first at the Grand Bahia. We all loved this resort. All the lounges were fun, and what a great plus, live entertainment. The specialty restaurtants were fabulous, especially the Japanese and Italian. We all went to the Spa and had outside massages, while listening to the sound of exotic birds. Everyone needs to do this!A special thanks to Felix for placing our rooms close in proximity. Also, thanks to Carlos and Willian in the Coba diningroom for having wonderful personalities and providing great service. Our housekeeper, Felipe was very friendly and kept our room extremely clean. We were at the Bahia the week that the hurricane was suppose to arrive and the...

We travelled with our two adult children, ages 18 and 19 and they were also amazed at not only the beauty, but the massive size...

spring getaway

This was our first trip to Riviera Maya.We chose Grand Bahia Coba from the complex which we believe it was the best choice. We were afraid that in march the hotel will be full of teenagers and very busy. We were wrong it was quite as we wanted to be. It seems the management of the hotel doing very nice job choosing different crowed for different area of the hotel. If you are a party person you will be found in party area or if you like quite you would be replaced in a quite sight of the hotel. From now we will choose complex hotels over single one. This way We had choice of 4 buffet and 9 restaurant. There were 24 hour bistros as well. Only problem was all buffet had almost the same food, but they tried to a...
