The Halifax Historical Museum is dedicate to showcasing the history of the Halifax River area. Its numerous exhibits and attractions include The Racing Zone, Spanish and British Plantation Eras, Pioneer Life, Victorian Households, Handmade Surf Boards, Hotels of Yesteryear, two exhibits dedicated to World War II and many more. The museum also hosts seasonal exhibits that revolve throughout the year.

Tips for Families
Admission is by donation on Thursdays. The museum is small so only give it a half hour to an hour. But it is charming, so if the weather isn't great, it is worth a trip.
