As Toronto's largest park, High Park has an array of activities to offer its visitors. Park goers can take advantage of the many hiking trails, sports facilities and picnic areas. But, what really makes this park special is its unique playground, waterfront location and on-site zoo. The playground was designed by children, for children. It is a castle of fun, full of ropes, swings, ladders, slides and artwork created by children. In addition, the mini-zoo at High Park is home to llamas, bison, dear and other animals. Finally, the lake adds to the atmosphere of High Park, giving visitors a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
