Gorgeous hotel in the French Quarter

Tips for Families

This hotel is in the heart of the French Quarter, so it's central to most attractions. You can walk through the French Quarter, obviously, but also to Riverwalk and Jackson Square.

I chose to stay at the Monteleone, in large part, because I really enjoy their bar (The Carousel Bar.) When we notified the front desk that the room was not cleaned, no action was taken by them to clean ...

4 star hotel? You would think the service would be outstanding! Nope, called the front desk for information and was continually hung up on. Very curt with their answers. The room was very musty and never a comfortable climate. Breakfast was only fruit and rolls, even at a La Quinta you can make a waffle or have bisquits and gravy. Never han...
