Even in the midst of a bustling big city, families can explore hiking trails, meadows and ponds at the 155-acre Huston Arboretum Nature Center. More than five miles of nature trails meander through forest, pond, wetland and meadow habitats. Several trails are stroller and wheelchair-accessible. Inside the Nature Center building is the Discovery Room, featuring interactive exhibits, activities, microscopes and touch screens conducive for learning about plant and wildlife found at the center.
