    Beautiful hotel, caring staff

Great pool, water slides, climbing wall, putting green, pedal-boats, Camp Hyatt — all the things you expect from a Hyatt resort, but the thing that made our stay work best was the staff. From the room-service waitress who took the time to bring extra napkins and glasses and ice and pitchers of water when we ended up ordering dinner at nearly midnight (we’d spent the entire day at the Kennedy Space Center) to the staff who worked at the pool and who kept bringing me refills on my water/tea/soda (and popsicles!) every time they walked by with another order (because it was hot and they didn’t want me to get dehydrated) to the front desk and bell staff, everyone was focused on making sure our time with them went as smoothly as possible.

    Tips for Families

There are small, open couches in the room that can serve as a fairly comfortable bed for up to about a 9 year-old (or so say my kids.)

In the words of my 8-year old daughter “Best hotel ever!”

We stayed here for four nights for a family vacation. It’s right around the corner from Disney and we went to Downtown Disney several times during our visit. Even though it rained on us every day, it was an excellent vacation. The price for what you get here is unbeatable! All the staff were very helpful and nice. The beds were very comfortable. The pools, slide, and water sports were awesome! There is a height requirement for the slide so my little one wasn’t able to do it and she was upset about that. The big pool is unheated and quite chilly. The food from the restaurants and room service was SO YUMMY although very expensive (but worth every penny). Our family of four averaged $80 for each breakfast, $150 for every lunch, and $200 for every dinner eaten at the hotel.

    Tips for Families

Wake up early and nab a pool chair if you want one. All the good ones are taken by 8:00 am.
