Great location and plush digs near the Olde City

Flag review

Tips for Families

Ask for a room on an upper floor with views of the Olde City. There are a few small grocery/snack stores in the Olde City, a five-minute walk from the hotel. We shopped here to stock our fridge with beverages and snacks. The hotel offers a valet parking service for $38 a day with in-and-out privileges. But if you self-park in the hotel’s garage, the rate drops to $25 a day with in-and-out privileges. Just remember to get your dashboard ticket from the front desk so you can come and go as you please.

Hyatt Regency, Philadelphia

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed our visit to Philadelphia. Our room was clean and comfortable, aside from the wallpaper needing some maintenance, it lived up to expectations. We also had to pay for internet access, which I thought was questionable. The restaurant in the lobby was ...

Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's Landing

The room itself was comfortable - nice decor. We were placed on a floor with guests attending a gala in the hotel, so we dealt with loud, drunk screaming part of the night. The walls are paper thin, you could hear everything. All the employees were very nice, even passing us in the hallway they said hello. My biggest complaints are: #1 the parking fee […] of $25.00 is actually $30 - they tack on another $5 "parking tax," and they do not notify you of this before, even when you call the hotel and ask the total charge for parking. In addition, that is only for 24 hours - 1 minute over that and you pay an additional $16. This is not information you are privy to either. #2, they charge for wifi internet access, ...
