Kissimmee, Florida

This place was awesome. We had our own town house with 2 levels and a screened in porch. The kids loved the pools. Yes I said pools! They have 3! One salt water pool, just in case you are missing the beach! One that really didn't have anything special except a tiki hut bar for adults, but it was right behind our "house" and one that was very much for the kids. It had it's own little water park with 3 or 4 waterslides. Great for all ages. They also have mini golf, pinic areas, basketball court, tennis court, lake with paddle boats and bike rentals. Needless to say, the children never had to ask what are we doing today. We only left the resort for dinner out and one day to visit legoland!

This was our first visit to Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee, FL. Nestled right behind Walt Disney World, we were able to see the fireworks at Disney at night fromour balcony. YOu could do Disney and the other attractions in Orlando but with thie resort there's no need to. There are seven pools on the resort all heated to 80 degrees.It has one of the longest lazy rivers, water sports and boat rentals on the resort. Beach volleyball anyone? Golf courses for the golf enthusiast, arcade rooms for the kids or kid at heart, plus several restaurants located throughout the resort. There is also a grocery store right outside of the resort gate so families can cook in their resort suites.

I stayed at the Radisson Celebration during a two-night visit to Kissimmee last fall. The hotel room was clean, the pool area was a lot of fun, and there were many activities for kids to participate in. The hotel was very close to the Disney grounds as well as several other attractions in the area. The hotel hallways smelled a tad musty but everything else was in great shape.

The Gaylord Palms is like a village within a biodome. Beautiful gardens lie in the center, with rooms surrounding. Rooms are nice and comfortable. The hotel can help you arrange transportation to Walt Disney World or Universal.

I believe this is a great hotel because it is absolutely beautiful. The everglades room, the alligators, the outside area.. it all makes for a beautiful walk in the morning out to a vehicle or even before dinner! There is a giant arcade for the kids and an octopus swimming pool/slide. The hotel is absolutely spotless! Very well maintained and happy workers.

Medieval Times is an out of this world dinner show. When you come in before your show, you can purchase drinks ($$) and souvenirs ($$). Very expensive, but fun for the kids and adults. Next, you get seated for the show. I purchased seat upgrades so my daughter could get a special banner and we could be seated right next to the floor. Definitely worth it. When the show starts, they start serving you dinner. And, of course, no utensils!!! Such a fun way to live savagely for a night! Drinks and a huge meal are all included in your ticket price. The meal was actually really good! We all enjoyed it. The show was amazingly fun. You get assigned a section and a knight and everyone got really in to cheering for their knights. My daughter also got a rose from our knight and it made her evening!!! The horse tricks were super cool and the jousting was very entertaining. At the end our knight won and that sweetened the pot even more for us. We just loved the whole show and the experience. I'd definitely add this to your must do list!!!

We really enjoyed this dinner theater, they involve the audience into the show while cheering for your knight, my girls got a real kick out of this show. My little one still has yellow and black crown from this show. They loved the jousting and the food was good, and hot which I was surprised. The kids got a kick out of not using silverware and being able to eat with their hands and my husband loved the chicken. The dessert was yummy too, if you are still hungry they give you a second portion, and make sure you are full when leaving. Great show all in all and plan to return when return to Kissimmee in May!

Dinner show with horses stunts and fun show for the little ones but not as good as some other offerings in town for the money. The food was standard fair if not poor, the soup which was drank rather than eaten with a spoon was lukewarm, the chicken was unseasoned and dry and dessert was dreadful sort of apple(I think) dumpling. My little one liked the show because she is into horses but besides that it was rather disappointing. There seemed to be no real point to the show.

The rooms were not very clean, there was hair in the bathroom, and the hotel overall was badly in need of a renovation. I was not impressed. The pool area is not as nice as it looks in pictures of the hotel.
