If you can arrange it, try to visit during Mar/April or Sept/Oct - it really bumps up the joy because temps are great, crowds and wait times are less and everyone just seems more relaxed.

That "Knott's" is always running specials to get people in the door is merely an indicator there's better to be had and they know it. I've had an annual pass at the Mouse's join right up the street. It was four times more expensive than Knott's and worth every penny. The park is dirty, run-down and run (entirely) by teens. I don't see K...
