Don't know if they always have this but at near by Rainforest Cafe, the kids place matts have coupons that get kids in free to Lego Discover with adult purchase. Gets you lunch at a fun place for the kids and saves buying a ticket.

This was my first time here and it was pretty awesome i enjoyed it as much as my kids (5 and 10 year old did) ,but they loved it too from the 4-D movie to the ride to everything we went and stayed for at least 3 hours. At first i did feel kinda ripped off, but after hav...

My kids have been asking to go to Legoland ever since we moved to the Chicago area a little over a year ago. After reading negative reviews (and looking up admission prices) I was hesitant. We recently received some free passes though, and went up to make a day of it yesterday. So glad we did! We stayed for 4 hours--could have stayed even longer if my four-year-old hadn't gotten too tired--and had a blast. We watched a 4D movie, took a factory tour (it was kind of a bummer that they didn't give out the souvenir bricks that the kids "made," but they were happy with the sheet of stickers they got), attended a workshop to make Lego bumblebees (had to pay $4 to keep them, which seemed steep to me--thankfully onl...

Kid heaven! I was amazed at everything being made of Legos and every single detail throughout the place. The 4D movie was better than any 3D movie I've seen. All the little kids in their seats trying to grab the movie images made all the a...

For a family of 3 I would plan on spending about $100 for a day.   It was $19.95 per adult.   I don't remember the kid price but one review  said they got a kid free with adult adm...

My daughter absolutely had so much fun here.  There were only a couple rides but so many activities to keep the kids busy.  You can build your own Lego creations, attend a workshop, race Lego cars, take a factory tour, watch a couple 4D shows, and play in the play area. My daughter had a...

Was a Wednesday afternoon, not too crowded there.  First, I would not pay full fare for a whole family.  Wow, would that be out of line for pricing.  We had buy one adult get a kid free, and with my 2 year old that meant $40 admission for a family of 5.  You can do the whole experience in 2 1/2 hours, easy when it isn't too crowded.  For the adult, not much interesting here- the model Chicago is very cool, and I liked both of the 4D movies- Clutch Powers especially.     Staff there was very helpful and friendly, and it seemed they had a lot to do and keep track of.  Did not eat the food there, looks decidedly scary and outrageously priced.  The Lego store at the end was basically an array of crap you can get...

We went on a Saturday morning at 11 and it wasn't overly crowded. By 1:30, the place was PACKED. We took my oldest son for his 8th bday and both of our boys enjoyed themselves. The food is "OK" but too expensive for what it is. Also, by the time you get to the food area, you're pretty much done. There is a "free play" area there and you could...

I was invited to go along to Legoland by a friend and I'm glad because I had never known about a place like this and I like to take my son so we both can experience new things.  The drive down was not bad at all from Milwaukee and when we arrived I was amazed at all of the things so meticulously built out of Legos.  It was SO COOL!  They have a play areas for the kids to build with Legos, go on a ride, climb, etc.  They have an area where they teach the kids how to build certain things out of Legos that they can take with them, for a price though.  They have 3D features to watch and a little roller coaster that goes through a dragon land setting.  I would say check it out once in your time.  Once was good en...
