Royale Avenue, Quebec, Quebec| Map |
Accurately named for its’ seven magnificent waterfalls, Les Sept Chutes is a beautiful, awe-inspiring park perfect for hikes, picnics and family photos. Two nature trails lead travelers to the waterfalls (one trail passes five of the falls, the second two of them.) Visitors should plan to take three to four hours out of their day for this leisurely hike, as many stopping points offer terrific photo opportunities and beautiful scenery to enjoy. Tours of the resident hydroelectric plant are available on most days, offered in both French and English depending on times. Bring swimsuits and water shoes for the younger kids to enjoy the small water park playground during the summer and enjoy lunch at the restaurant. The Les Sept Chutes giftshop is also available to purchase souvenirs.
