A great free place to take a drive in Saint LouisFlag review
Lone Elk Park/World Bird Sanctuary in Saint Louis is a fun drive thru animal park housing elk, bison, and exotic birds. When you enter, you make a stop at the Bird Sanctuary and view eagles, pelicans, hawks, owls, and many, many more. They also have a rabbit that you can pet and shows daily. The bird sanctuary is a great place to learn more about the exotic birds in a fun way. All of the birds are rescues that have been injured and that makes it even more fun. After you are through, take a drive through Lone Elk park and get to see elk and bison up close and personal. Sometimes you have to drive around them, as they frequent parking lots at the park. It's a great place to visit and eat lunch. You can also see turtles and ducks in the summertime at the park's lake. This is not that well known except to locals and is a really great time.
