The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), located in Midtown Manhattan in New York, is a fantastic place to visit. When people think of MoMA they might think of head-scratching modernists like Andy Warhol or Pablo Picasso, but the museum also has timeless crowd-pleasers like Van Gogh's ''Starry Night'' and examples of Monet's water lily panels. There are several floors to see, and there are family programs and family guides to help visitors enjoy the exhibits. Stop by the Education and Family Information Desk on the second floor for these guides and other helpful information. MoMA Audio: Kids is a free audio program for children 5 to 12, and can be checked out at the Audio Program desks. The museum carries books for children and adults, as well as the MoMA Guide which covers just about everything visitors need to know. Other activities for families include special interactive spaces. All these offerings can be found by inquiring at the lobby desk. MoMA really has something for everyone to enjoy.
