Great Stay in the Heart of DC

We stayed at the Marriott Metro Center when my husband had to be in Washington, D.C. on business. What a pleasant hotel this was! Our room was spacious and comfortable (not really memorable except that it was fine), and the location was great! There is a Starbucks in the lobby, which was a lifesaver for me in the morning. Step out of the hotel and you’re at the Metro Center metro station, which lets you easily connect to any train you like and is the main hub of the DC metro system. Within walking distance, there is the White House and the National Mall, as well as the Spy Museum. But what really made this hotel stand out to me was the staff. They laughed and joked with us and went above and beyond with their concierge service. With one staff member in particular, I felt like we were old friends by the time I left. I would definitely stay there again.

    Tips for Families

Take advantage of your Metro Center location and branch out into the city as much as possible using the metro. It’s a cheap, easy, and convenient way to travel in the city.
