The Montreal Insectarium takes visitors into the colorful, mysterious and amazing world of the insect. Exhibits feature jewel-like beetles, giant walking sticks, crazy colored butterflies and furry spiders. The skin may crawl, but the eye will certainly be intrigued at the sight of these rarely seen insects from around the world. Both live and mounted collections are available for view, and provide much insight into the life of the insect. For even more education, visitors can stop by the ''We Are the Insects'' exhibition to learn about how various insects eat, hide and find a mate. Exposing this hidden world, the Montreal Insectarium sheds new light on not-so-creepy-crawlies.
