In the winter, alpine skiing rules at Mount Sunapee Resort. Once the snow melts, it’s time for family fun in the sun at the 4,085-acre lake at Mt. Sunapee State Park Beach. A boat launch is available with some restrictions. Situated about a mile from the beach, family camping is available in a natural setting. While the park is open year-round for recreation, it is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available during off-season. Peak season is usually late May through early September.
