The Museum of Arts and Sciences (MOAS) in Daytona Beach is the preeminent art, science and history museum in the Central Florida region. Situated on a 90-acre Florida nature preserve, the 100,000 square foot institution features over 30,000 unique objects. Some of its major collections include a highly acclaimed showcase of American art in the Southeast, an exhibit dedicated to Cuban art, Florida's prehistoric Giant Ground Sloth, an extensive Americana exhibit and more. There is also a separate Children's Museum that caters to little ones, as well as a Planetarium that hosts light shows.
