Tips for Families

They have Imax shows and the Imax was included in the price of regular admission because of the construction when we went, but we had other places to go and didn't have time to sit through a movie. Definitely go see the seal feeding. It was great!

Tips for Families

In the summer months, arrive as close to opening as possible to avoid very long admission lines. Check the IMAX schedule in advance so that you can arrange your visit around the movie showings.

The layout of the aquarium with it's central tank and spiral walkway up to other levels makes it both visually impressive and gives visitors many vantage points to view the animals and various tanks. They have a wonderful touch tank area where you can gently stroke the swimmin g rays which my kids thoroughly enjoyed. We also had a great time in the new covered outdoor area watching the seals play. Our only disappointment was discovering the aquarium only validates members parking at the garage and so we were left having to pay $35 for parking. This was not the case several years ago on our last visit. Other than t...
