Tips for Families

Much like our other playground visits, both of my children were ready to leave after about 45 minutes. Bring a bottle of water and maybe even a picnic lunch to eat on the grass outside of Storyland.

This is our Central Park.  And although it is not as big, I feel that it has just as much to offer. It is a beautiful, peaceful place where you can fish, bird watch, walk, ride a horse, enjoy an incredible variety of trees, plants, and beautiful flowers, play golf, and participate in a whole host of other sports.  With 1300 acres, you can find almost any activity to suit you. Have kids?  There's a carousel and an amusement park!  It has Storyland to rev up their imaginations, and you can purchase season tickets.  They might want to ride the train through the park or have their birthday parties here.  How about a field trip or go to summer camp? The New Orleans Museum of Art and a sculpture garden will please...
