Learning about Colonial AmericaFlag review
We went to the Candlelight Christmas tour the week before Christmas in December 2013. All of our family, including the 4 year old, enjoyed all of the activities and learning experiences offered at the tour. A story was read in the meeting house, a choir performed in the church, we sampled horehound cough drops at the general store, sampled traditional Christmas cake at the parsonage and rode in a wagon pulled by Clydesdale horses. There were other building and activities also. It was a great learning experience about Colonial America that everyone enjoyed.
Tips for Families
Great place for children. They can run around, make noise and it is ok.
