The Barcelona Olympic Stadium, home to the 1992 Olympics, is an interesting stopover for families of all ages to check out the place where the world's best athletes once competed. Guided tours are available of the Olympic Stadium (Estadi Olympic), and the venue is adjacent to the affordable Olympic and Sports Museum. The Olympic Flame is still burning at the Stadium, and the playing field can be viewed from a small terrace. Almost everyone who travels to Barcelona goes up to Montjuic Hill, since it is clustered with various attractions; the Barcelona Olympic Stadium is one of the many attractions available atop the hill, making it easy to fit in an itinerary. For a free, no-stress, day activity for families, the Olympic Stadium is an excellent choice.
