The Palazzo Medici Riccardi is a Renaissance palace that was built in the mid-1400s for the wealthy Medici family. The large ground-floor windows were designed by Michelangelo. The building itself is best known for the famous chapel Cappella dei Magi. Points of interest are the Great Hall, where the ceiling is covered in frescoes and the beautiful courtyard.
