The training ground of the U.S. Olympic Ski and Snowboarding Team, Park City Mountain Resort offers fun activities for the whole family, no matter the time of year. In winter, families can take advantage of the resort’s legendary ski and snowboarding runs, some of which were the site of competition in the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, zipline down the mountain, and take snowmobiles on an exhilarating ride. Parents will love the excellent, hands-on instruction their children will receive in the resort’s Kids Signature Programs, which teach skiing and snowboarding techniques in a fun, safe environment. Activities aren’t confined to the winter, though. In warmer months, the whole family will enjoy speeding down the resort’s Alpine Slide, which offers more than 3,000 feet (914 meters) of luge-like tracks, bouncing on the trampolines at the Legacy Launcher, climbing the rock wall, mountain biking, and hiking on the famous mountain. Whether for skiing, hiking, playing, learning, or relaxing, Park City Mountain Resort offers a range of options to keep parents and kids of all ages engaged and entertained.
Tips for Families
If your family is visiting Park City in the winter, be sure to catch Santa as he arrives at Park City Mountain Resort! Hot chocolate and cookies are offered free to visitors, making this an unforgettable night for kids and parents alike.
